half the tracks on tical are wack and makes it impossible to be considered a classic album, despite being 15 years old. it's their first wu solo album, and there were much better solos that came after it.

I remember Sika Than Aidz made a thread about this years ago and it pretty much won with emphasis on the Biscuits track.

On regular speakers no matter what the size, the base does shake. However, I heard these same wu albums on some of the nicest sound systems you can get that get tuned to the room like the studio ones. Im talking close to $100K sounding systems you can hear it the clearest possible. Even when the frequency is at 20-30Hz.

The wu base is good especially on that album. But its more of a "dirty base" and RZA purposely does that becuase he likes doing that out-of-tune stuff a lot.

From this reason its very hard to judge base like that.

If you have one of those half assed car audio system with that farting base you wont notice and if anything it makes it better. When the frequencies are getting that low and the speakers delivers the sound and remains tight and doesnt oscillate everywhere, you just have to appreciate it for what it is.

But I don't know whats the most base heavy. The Tical album indeed hits the very low frequencies more often than most hip-hop albums I know of.

This just seems like a list of albums in which you like the beats of....When I made this thread I was talking about low frequency bass lines, besides THE LOW END THEORY, none of these albums really have super low bass.....Go listen to "Biscuits" off Tical on a good stereo with a SUB Woofer and you will see....

I agree totally. Tical has the most irresponsible bass I have ever heard in any rap album. I put it on in my buddies car a few years back and he is one of those guys who has a huge system in their car but they eq it so the bass is almost too heavy and we literally couldnt hear anything at all except the bass. it was actually hilarious. thaqts why i call it irresponsible bass because it will blow any type of speaker if its up too loud. i love it though
