Bogut didn't play...and Austalia's frontline was still too physical for the US...and USA couldn't guard the pick and roll...Their Guards were to quick for Deron and Kidd to guard... USA's entire offense was nothing but one on one isos...Australia pretty much exposed team USA's weakness...with their best player on the bench.

This is the second time Australia gave a scare to one of the basketball powerhouses of the world...I wouldn't be shocked if they get a medal in the Olympics.

Kobe's been playing shut down D the entire time...He's the leader of the team... BUT he hasn't been scoring much.

So Earl Boykins left the NBA this week to play in Italy this season? He'll be the highest paid player in Italy. More players keep leaving. lol

It makes sense for a guy like Earl, who yearly is struggling to make a team or
doesnt to leave the NBA and get paid like a superstar in Italy.

ALot of these guys can make more money overseas. But the best competition is
still in the NBA. If it gets to be ridiculous, they NBA will adjust and it will probably raise
salary cap levels or make an exception for 'franchise players' and such cuz believe me,
the NBA does not want to lose its stars.

Still, not everyone wants to leave the States for Europe. its not like they aint getting
paid.

no team in europe will pay a basketball player $50million a year.

there are 2 basketball clubs with that kind of money. Real Madrid and Barcelona, they concentrate more on soccer. They wont stretch their bank accounts for a basketball players.

I can't see an NBA superstar leaving the NBA for Europe. The NBA just would not have it.
Neither would the endorsement companies.
If LeBron is playing in Europe, nobody in the states is staying up at night to watch LeBron.
He would be looked at as a traitor and in it for the money.
Its one thing if Boykins and Childress leave...

Wade and Kobe said it could be possible at some point that they would leave the NBA for Europe also. lol

I don't see why some NBA teams are reluctant to sign Boykins.. besides his size. He could be a starter on a bunch of NBA teams, or at least a solid backup.

Charles Barkley said that stuff about Lebron? LOL. Charles always speaks the truth. Lebron would be a damn fool to leave the Cavs for a overseas team. Plus most american basketball players wouldn't be able to adjust to the different way of living overseas anyway and you know they wouldn't like the food because the food overseas isn't as good as american food. Earl Boykins is gonna play overseas next season? I didn't know Charlotte got rid of him. He is a pretty good player considering he's so short. I don't understand why he can't last long with a NBA team.

The NBA would rather have a tall scrub type player like Mark Madsen who averages .8 points a game, than a solid short player like Earl Boykins.

The Crooklyn Nets aren't going to win a championship whether Lebron goes there or not.
