they are in for a rude awakening, but its all part of the process of becoming a champion. YOu have to taste bitter defeat first.

I remember in 2008, the Hawks had 37 wins entering the playoffs (same as 2011 Pacers) They took the Celtics 7 games in the first round of the playoffs. Celtics won the NBA title that year. That's right, the Hawks won 3 out of 7 against the eventual champs in the first round after having a losing record. I am supposed to be overly concerned about a series that the Bulls lead 3-0?

2007? ur thinking 08 cuz the cavs went to the finals in 07...beating the Wizards, Nets and Pistons.
The Cavs also took Boston to 7 games. The Cavs were also 8-0 versus the Hawks the past two years in the playoffs. but have no ring to show for it. Boston has 4 all-stars that get it done in crunch, town, the best team defense in the league when they want to play it, and execution unmatched. The bulls have a 6 foot PG who has to do it all. Good luck with that.

And another reason why I have no faith in this Chicago team....
They are soft. They are getting bullied by the Pacers. They win the games because they are a much better team with the MVP. But Foster and Hansborough are handling them..... Deng and Rose both took shots and nobody came to defense.. Why? Boozer and Noah are soft and can and will be intimidated. and that "secret weapon" Turk that rides the bench?? LOL.

i dont take too much out of the first round except if a favored team is struggling.
but this is the playoffs. Its all about matchups. What i've been saying about the bulls, i've beens saying all year, and i will repeat it one last time. 2nd round Out......consider it a great year if you make the conference finals. No doubt that getting that 1 seed helped them out tremendously, but the struggles with Indiana would scare me a bit because the matchups only get tougher for the bulls. but they should be happy wiht drawing either Orlando or Atlanta in the second round over Boston or Miami. no doubt about that.

but they're not. LOL.
cuz the Heat are better. Or at least they are executing better at the end of games...Thats what its all about. its what it comes down to. Its what seperates a champion from a contender.

A lot of teams are struggling in the first round. The Lakers, Spurs have lost, the Heat have had a couple close games vs. the Sixers. The Pacers are giving the Bulls some good lessons. Who thought the Bulls would win 62 games and the first seed? They're not the sexy pick to win it all but a lot of these other teams/superstars have questions to answer as well. I'll take the "ugly" win over a "pretty" loss any day. Go Bulls!

You can look past a Laker or a Celtic struggle because they have won championships and been here before. We know what they are capable of doing.
For the Bulls its all first impression.

Exactly. This is what I've been telling you! The Bulls of past seasons were really not much like the team in place in Chicago now. They play WAY better on defense, added the rebounding and scoring (except the last fucking game) of Carlos Boozer, and the shooting of Kyle Korver. The same Kyle Korver that statistically speaking has the best 4th quarter three point shooting percentage in the NBA.
Oh and then there's the "special weapon" Omer Asik. Asik is undoubtedly the greatest player to ever grace the courts of the NBA.

The Knicks aren't trying very hard. Disgraceful playoff effort tonight! I wouldn't want to be Dantoni or however you spell that shit.

the Knicks are still a work in progress......they need a Luol Deng and a Joakim Noah before the become real contenders. right now they lackt he role players necessary.
