The Lakers will always be his team. He'd take Howard in a second, maybe you could make a cas with Paul, but Chris Paul is as fierce a competitor as Kobe, they'd be great together.

Same old, same old from the NBA though.

But if the Lakers can pull that off, they should be ecstatic....that would make cry-ami look like the B-Team.

Lakers are closing in on getting Chris Paul. apparently its Gasol and Odom for Paul.

it seems more likely that the Lakers will get Howard to. Bynum plus picks for Howard and one of Orlando's bad contracts (Hedo or Arenas). then maybe a third team getting involved to just fill it all out.

so basically the lockout didnt solve anything. the small teams will continue to lose money and the big stars will continue to play in the big market teams. its becoming more and more like the world of soccer. your gonna have a league where only 2-3 teams ever win anything.

Whats going to happen is if guys dont sign early, theyre getting shipped out. Like baseball basically.

But the superteam of Dwight Howard, Kobe and Chris Paul will definitely be a sight. Those guys mesh perfectly together.

But yes this is terrible for the NBA because they definitely do not have the fanbase of either football or baseball, or even soccer abroad.

But the small market teams can still compete because of the cap, and i think we will eventually get some players who want to actually compete instead of team up??

I think....i dunno.

its a moot point now, but they kinda brought this upon themselves when they limited rookie contracts, but then again with the guaranteed money thing, and the amount of busts that the NBA draft produces, that was a dead end.

I think the Lakers are stupid for giving up Gasol and Odom for Paul. Paul is hurt an awful lot and if they can't land Howard (how could they with nobody worth a crap to trade) they will be a worse team because of it imo.

B-Roy is going to retire. Sad to see him have to go out this early because he's one of my favorite players, but his knees are shot. It was nice to see him have one final great moment in the playoffs last year.
