I open my eyes to rise but something is missing
Quieting my heart palpitations to take a listen
To a room that’s empty with no noise to hear
All I have beside me is an empty pillow with tears
The bed is cold on that side cause a body is missing
So I go downstairs to investigate in the kitchen
They’re no smells of food cooking and the oven is cold
I should’ve put on my slippers cause of the cold on my toes
Walking on the carpet and down the hall
Seeing pictures of my life I proudly hung on the wall
But now I’m sad cause that’s the only vision I see
& more so you became free by fleeing me
Now my toes are wet from water running from my face
It’s a bitter moment just like the salt that I taste
But I gotta get myself ready for the day
I thank my God for just living every morning I pray
It’s hard but I’ll make do
Cause nothing in this world can make me stop loving you
I gotta go but where to because my life is gone
I wish that this could change next time I hit the alarm
But it won’t and I won’t get another chance to succeed
I guess I want my bed to be warmed cause of my greed
Now that I’m dressed I walk my steps into this cold lonely world
With eyes of glassy crimson instead of those I saw that were pearls

Words mean nothing except for when synapses connect
They don’t even prove your respect
But from what you select you can get stressed
I don’t even have appropriate issues on my chest
But I gotta say and do something cause I feel powerless
But I digress, and let my mind rest
Long enough to know that I’m not a failure but I feel like it
I can’t articulate to writer it
But I must
I must know that I can view my mirror with trust
I must be able to contribute to dilapidated situations
This is real life; forget a TV station
No stories
No endings in glories
No smilie faces and no good situation
It’s just me pacing
But what am I facing
Myself or the individual I pledged my life to
I can’t do it again I wifed you
But this is a conversation for just me and you so let me stop
The situation thickens before I even reach my plot

An arbitrary website on Moors. I don't remember. Once I finish certain studies I'm going to do some indept research on the Moors, even though my current research is going to touch on them.
