I started watching at the 1st test and im loving Cricket. Even bought myself a 1 day shirt
![]() I went down 2 Trafalgar square 2day for the parade, it was brilliant. I got some nice pics from it, ill post some up if i got the time. I wasnt really in the mood when we won the rugby cos i think its a shit game, but i like Cricket. And Pietersen is a legend... im gunna get me a hair style like that soon And Shane Warne is a legend too... GOOD BOWLIN SHANE

well done to the english team and all their supporters. even though from an australian point of view it is hard to understand all the celebration but i geuss if you havent won it for 20 odd years then it would be something to celebrate.
Australia's problems: 1. heavey reliance on shane and glen. 2. inability to swing the ball 3. arrogance (Hayden) 4. poor captaincy 5. englands bowlers overall a shocking series from an aus point of view with virtually no positives (appart from warnes effort) but at least cricket will be more competetive and we wont win all the time which is fucking boring.

England have a fairly young squad, minus Ashley Giles and have the potential to dominate for the next 5 years, but we'll see what happens when we play Pakistan next month. We'll have to beat the likes of them, India and South Africa to be known as the best team. IMO Australia still have that title. Its going to be weird in 4 years time when Australia come back to England for the Ashes... it will be a whole different team playing against England. But im much looking forward to the Ashes in Australia in 2 years time. Hopefully it will be as entertaining as this one.
How come Australia never called up Symmonds? (not sure if i spelt it right) Hes young and looks very good in the County games ive seen him playing in. |

36, it's not as bad as you think... gerraint jones was actually born in papua new guinea haha...
can't believe it took until the third page for someone to mention andrew flintoff... even though shane warne deserved to be man of the series, i was glad flintoff got it... he's a real showman (and not a half bad player either)... as for the future... the england batting line up still looks a little shaky at times... i still don't think you guys have the right order yet... and you need to ease flintoff's bowling workload, otherwise you'll burn him out early... australia on the other hand got what they deserved... without warne, the series would have been 4-1... about time the selectors were made to make some tough decisions... there are too many good players in the shield here being held back by aging batsmen... and the four-man pace attack is great when you have mcgrath, warne and gillespie in top form... but otherwise, the bowlers just have too much work to do... |
