Buffering problems while trying to stream videos?

I have a DSL connection. Recently, I started having a problem with buffering while watching TV shows on Mega Video, and watching video clips at other sites too. When I try to watch something, it keeps pausing every so often and and buffering. It gets pretty annoying to try and watch something when this keeps happening. I didn't have this issue before. There was some occasional buffering before sometimes, but nothing like this. So I wasn't sure if my computer is running more slow now than usual, or what the problem might be? Though, my computer doesn't seem to be running any slower than normal. I tried pausing the video clip of the show right when it starts playing, and waiting until it is completely done buffering, but that is now taking forever to wait until it's done.

Thanks for all the help. Some days back I ended up fixing the problem by turning my modem off, and then back on.
