Alot of people hate rappers pretending to be gangsters but this created some of my favourite albums

Raekwon - OB4CL
Nas - It was written
AZ - Do or die
Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt

Whats your views on these style of albums and some of your favourites.

Life after death could have been on that list but Puff ruined it for me with his bullshit

I'm one of those that hates that fake Gangster aesthetic.

But I agree, some of the best albums came from that...movement?

My favourites being: Doe or Die and of course Cuban Linx. It was Written is pretty high up as well.

When Rza donated to Hillary Clinton's campaign she was scrutinized for taking money from someone who allegedly worked with the Gambino crime family...i think it was for weapons trafficking a long time ago
