So you say. Fuck Aes, El-P's last album was flat and overly-depressing, Mr. Lif bores the hell out of me, Cage... well I want him to make one more good album, but I have my doubts. That label is wack. Nice of them to release Dizzee Rascal's last album though. They just go on about how dark and awful the world is over and over. I can't stand them.

Ah man. I loved Camu!! Nighthawks is one of my personal favorite concept albums. I wish he did more on Def Jux. I didn't like his poppy shit he made before dying. But I guess he was just like "Fuck it. I'm making music for me". Cool brutha. But I think SA Smash was sorta underwhelming. RJD2 has talent, but he's not my taste either. Del is cool as hell, no matter what label.

Oh, and Cannibal Ox is awesome. But that label just consistenly lets me down.

Minor-moment of disbelief. Just read the Cam line, "Why you think the hood coroded? He Tony the Tiger/ Yeah he like to sugarcoat it" It just sums up everything I love about Cam'ron's style: saying something complex in a simple way, a surreal double meaning and rhyming words no one else is rhyming. Hood corroded, Sugarcoated? One of the best rappers ever. I mean, shit, the projects have a giant cavity! Cam reminds me of ODB's writing at its best and weirdest. Thank God, Cam will leave us with a trillion metaphors and similes like this.
