because its fucking obvious Ghost took the crown in every possible way you could measure a rap verse quality. Ghost's voice tone was enough to cancel out Holocaust. Holocausts verse was just straight laced, basic shit. It was a nice ass verse, but it was basic in structure and style.
Wheras Ghost was fucking insane on his verse, its an example of how to measure a ordinary rapper, to one who orchestrates on a different level. Ghost was flowing all over the fucking show, his lines where way more out there than Holo, and his charisma was peaking. Ghost gave a LESSON to Holo on actually rapping TO A BEAT. Ghost paid attention to the ebat he was rappping over, and rode it. His verse fucking slid into that beat. "caught up in the hollow head suction" and that tyson we love the sport line has styaed in my head and pops up at random occaisions ever since i first heard th song. Eh yo, the beat terminal, exquisite young coolie high production Caught up in the hollow-head suction Ten pogo sticks, two black-belts that break bricks Diet coke meetin's with the rich I'm faithfully married to rap We've been engaged for twelve years Tyson bite Holyfield ear We love the sport, look out your window Now see, pull up the shade, yall be amazed me Tony Starks, spaceship, ran by a daughter's cellar Only man out, walked through hell Dick swingin like shit went well Call it the mighty Joe Young Double-swirl slush, Wonder Woman, sapphire shit with the pearls It looked real nice, yo, heavy on the gravy Dun, bag a secretary in the glaze, he tagged eighty words From Whirl-winds to whirl-pools, see wise watch the earth spin Sunny-dance with the serpent, who shot JJ and it was mud-bone The same nigga ridin the train, same nigga with his name on the jacket Swift and changeable, inhaled the bad bag of that Jason Fell out twice in the basement Straight up and down, yall

I don't know about that one. The song could def do without RZA's verse.... but other then that the track is flawless.

if what u say is true RZA wouldve called the track ''Ghostface'', but he didnt
HOLOCAUST made this track a Klassik, not ghost or rza. otherwise this wouldve been just another (dope) track amongs many others on the album

everyone knows who Ghost is. So he was trying to set off Holocaust at the time, he was blowin him up because he had a hot verse too. But to act like Holo took the best verse is to hate Wu tang.

"that song is named Holocaust cause one of the artist's name on that song is Holocaust - and he really ripped that song so much I named it after him"
-RZA idk I like his and Ghost's verse equally....just because Ghost sounds dope, but Holocaust had the better lines. |

Holo most defintely DIDNT have the nicest lines. On another song, he wouldve, but with Ghost verse present, theres no match. You could also argue alot of Holo's lines werent actually dope at all. Im not. But im saying you could.
Argyle Gargoyle, idk why you seem to hate wu tang as much as you do, im not trying to hate on Holo here, but no one can deny he has the worst list of rap names probably ever.

holocaust easily had the best verse on that song, easily ... in fact his verse was so potent that i usually either 1) repeat the song after holo's verse or 2) straight up change the song after holo spits because every other verse following his is obsolete
i'll come back to this thread when i feel like sonnin you
