But I reckon If ol Alex teaches him properly and he really really learns to focus. Good ol Shrek Aka the Rooney could just maybe with time become the best the world has ever seen.

no chance he will become the best the world have ever seen, yes he is a great player but he isnt even better than ronaldo and adriano who is only 22 is by far a better player

I don't know much about Pele, but Rooney is the only player I've ever seen who can even be compared to Maradona.
I've honestly never seen anyone quite like him and most football fans I know agree (not just Man Utd fans either).
He's certainly the best England or Man Utd player I've ever seen (but Bobby Charlton, Duncan Edwards, John Charles, George Best and Jimmy Grieves were all way before my time).
