I edited the thread title Style, I hope you don't mind but I did it just to clarify that unfortunately due to a certain someone's upcoming film it won't be called Avatar.

As for the trailer, I saw it a while back and im really looking forward to the film even though the casting has been a bit controversial to say the least (Hollywood white washing of the characters).

If people haven't already I would seriously recommend you guys check out the animated series before you see the film, It truly is one of the greatest kids cartoons to have come out in recent years.

i think the main controversy was due to to the fact that the casting calls specifically asked for white actors to play roles that should've been asian characters.

WOW! this a dead on adaptation this is how it suppose to be from the Air Temple to his movement on Airbending to the Fire Nation ships and weapons to the music Im very please from what i saw just now it seems that the loooong time we waited from the last Book of the series was well worth it since the creators work very closely to the movie around that time

about the actors i can say much lets wait and see till an actual trailer arrives

They got that Twilight dude in there while Katara, the more mature one, is some kid.
Prince Zuko is that goofy lookin fag from that Millionaire flick... well that was a good movie.... the Director is a one hit wonder with a bunch of dick riders. Ben Cooke as Avatar Roku... GTFOH... this is on my top 5 of animated series'... probably #5, but this cast is garbage. Some Jesse McCartney mini me as Aang... i have no hope for this flick. it can suck my ass and the cast can kill themselves after being molested by priests on the teacup ride at Disney Land.

As for the where it's set, they don't say specifically but alot of the elements for the series are derived from the Chinese and Hindu culture. fighting styles, symbols and whatnot.
