the basque region is part of spain, making them spanish citizens...they are basque spaniards...i understand wanting to preserve the basque culture, i'm all for that being that they're one of the oldest civilizations in europe, but blowing shit up because spain won't let you seperate should not be tolerated (also an independant basque country won't last long)...plus i don't see the french basques blowing french people up in order to separate
