Russia is back near the top thanks to this guy, his sorted Russia out, and his the only leader of one of the worlds more powerful nations who has true control over his nation. if Putin put up a health care bill no Russian would protest it. not because of Putin's dictator like control, but Russian's genuinely support the man. plus the mans a black belt in Judo.

What does powerful mean here?
Military might? Financial might? Ability to scare and spread fear? I believe it is fair to say that in history, the most powerful men were those who delivered an intellectual thought or philosophy. Such as prophets and other men of well-groomed intellectual and philosophical ideologies.
