Why Do Some Of You Equate Being Gay With Being Black?

Gayness is a sexual orientation. Sexual orientation is usually discussed in terms of three categories: heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual.

Blackness is a skin pigmentation. Human skin color can range from almost black to nearly colorless (appearing reddish white due to the blood vessels under the skin) in different people. Skin color is determined by the amount and type of melanin, the pigment in the skin.

Please explain why some of you compare the two when there is no obvious comparison.

Ya, he equated gays to whites which is also logically incorrect.

Whether one is born with lots of or very little melanin is not comparable to having a sexual attraction to the same gender.

I hear of gays and the defender of gays always equating race with sexual orientation. This is wrong.

I'm one of those nutjobs that believes the Disney Corporation is more responsible for homosexuality than genetics. Calling homosexuality hereditary is just an excuse, a bullshit one at that. It's all programming.

That is possible. There were many 'cultural revolutions' in the last few decades. One of them was to accept homosexuality. Revolution from Latin revolutio, "a turn around". Look how they turned our society!

It is more hereditary for a man to have sex with a woman. Anyone who doubts that, just has to look at both of their genitals.

Being oppressed for having dark skin, again, is not the same as being oppressed for being gay.

If one wants to compare being oppressed for being black, a better example to use would be being oppressed for being white. They both fall under racism.
