so far I have read and seen nothing good about this new one.I saw a lot of youtube yesterday that said it wasnt all that good.and I read a review.

yeah, i heard it was really whack. the trailer sure didn't make me want to watch it online, let alone pay to see it, and i was a big elm street fan as a kid. i remember meeting robert englund at a DCcar show when i was liek 12, and it was definitely cool as hell. that dude is freddy.

when i first heard about an elm street remake, the rumor was that billy bob thornton was gonna play freddy. jackie earle haley is aiight and all, but if it was billy bob instead, i think i would be more interested.

whatever though, it might be the shit, i might check it when it comes out on tv.

from the trailers ive seen i didn't like jackie earle haley playing the part
his "freddy" voice + lines seemed too forced and poorly acted to me
plus he's like 4 feet tall so he's not very menacing

but i cant really judge until i see it

nah man,i saw it yesterday and it was surprisingly good imo. it had its moments that surprise the shit outta u n it was pretty bloody. the story was almost exactly like the original too.plus they incorporate different types of sleeping disorders that make niggas dream while they're still awake to make it have more sense as to why they see shit when theyre not even sleeping.plus i think dude did a good job as freddy. definitely worth checkin out,i'd be down to see it again.
