I read both books recently, so i thought id see which one people enjoyed more and why, or if anyone has read them lol
personally i enjoyed The Iliad more, mostly because it is more war like but also the story is a classic representation of heroic tragedy, which i didnt get so much out of The Odyssey anyone have other thoughts? |

both cool shit
theres this one part in the iliad, book two i believe, where motherfucker lists every cocksucker in the entire Achaian army. worst thing to read through. pages and pages of pointless names. almost didnt make it through but i think i liked the odyssesy more just because the story was new to me. hasnt been clichéd countless times like the iliad but they're both good food read the aeneid. also good

ya that was a shitty part of the book, but some of the names listed help to know whos from where leading what contingent, but i feel ya. both books have there pros and cons, i just like how descriptive Homer is with everything.
