I think the reason why rappers disappear is because they get tired of shitty ass record companies cheating them outta their money and shelving their albums. I wanna know what happened to Caddilac Tah, Black Child, Charli Baltimore. I posted about Caddilac Tah and Black Child on here before and nobody responded. I always thought that they're better rappers than Ja Rule and it's a shame they couldn't get any albums out. That's why i don't understand why they were so loyal to Irv Gotti, Ja Rule and Murda Inc records because if i was a rapper, i'm not gonna be loyal to a record company that has never released my albums LOL.

i agree with you and you're totally right... But were they rapping for self gratitude or the pay check is the major question... I'd rather listen to a broke nigga with skills than some overly budgeted gimmick...

I seriously doubt that most of the rappers i named have jobs because most of them probably didn't finish high school and most of them probably don't have any job skills because most of them have been drug dealers and hustlers before they rapped. I know that rappers don't make a lot of money. Well at least the underground rappers don't make much money i guess but if they weren't making any money, then how come underground rappers like KRS One, Boot Camp Click, Canibus, Keith Murray, Redman, Wu Tang, Pharoahe Monch, Camp Lo, OC, M.O.P., AG, AZ, Diamond D, Ras Kass, Cormega, EPMD, WC, Jeru The Damaja, Big Shug, Little Dap of Group Home are still around? There's money to be made in rap music but the thing is you gotta save your money and don't spend most of it and you can survive the music business.
