in the sense that this website tends to get all excited (in a bad way) about fringe branches on the Wu tree, it's understandable but yall tend to overreact and overdo it which is really why essentially NO Wu folks come and post on here..They get eaten alive


Those who pay attention to my postings on here know I don't fake anything..I ain't phony, I'll speak the truth, how I feel about something regardless of what the rest of you think or how it might be perceived. And i'll say straight up: 80 is legit. I've met the dude once before when he was in San Diego briefly with a buxom, boner-worthy brawd by his side and he was peace and even played the just-completed new 60 Sec album for me (i talked all about it here). Not only is he a good dude but, trust me, he's as immersed in the Wu web as anyone else you see on here. He'd been chillin with Gza and Killah Priest a couple nights before and I seen him wheelin-and-dealin distribution deals and shit on the phone trying to SUPPLY US WITH THE MUSIC WE WANT. Which is perhaps the most important thing. This motherfucka is tryin to put together the music the true Wu grain fans wanna hear, whereas (as most on here know) the Wu family tree was so horribly mismanaged for years that it almost withered to death...



if you don't like his music, whatever it's all good. It really doesn't satisfy my own personal tastes either but the dude is puttin himself out there at the risk of possible major embarrassment (NOT beating the record would really have you guys takin aim, i'm sure) to raise money for a fuckin African school....representing Wu in the process! Show some love, or support, or at least don't hate on the cause....shit is pathetic
