Halo Reach to push the Xbox 360 to its limits

Halo Reach developer Bungie has stated that the upcoming Halo game will push the [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]Xbox[/COLOR][/COLOR] 360 to its very limits, as Bungie creative director Marcus Lehto said.

“We are taking every advantage of everything on the CPU and GPU, and every bit of memory in order to produce the look of Reach beyond anything of Halo 3″

Halo Reach is expected to hit the stores this Holiday season (just like any other Halo game).

Halo Reach screenshots leaked

Thanks to a blunder by EB Games, the first Halo Reach screenshots have been leaked, one that are set to appear in the February issue of Game Informer. Check out the full set of screenshots over at 1UP.
On another level, this smells like an orchestrated PR stunt by Bungie and EB Games.

Halo: Reach 2010’s biggest game?

Do you remember the amount of publicity Halo 3 got right around its release date back in 2007? There were drinks, amusement rides and promotions up the wazoo. Not much looks to be different with Halo: Reach considering Microsoft has just went on record as saying the game will be the biggest game of 2010:

“Our hope for Halo: Reach is to be the biggest title of 2010 not only for Xbox, but across all platforms – a forecast which has been mirrored by industry professionals. Halo: Reach takes the legacy of Halo’s rich [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]multiplayer[/COLOR][/COLOR] gameplay to an entirely new level, delivering experiences that we think old and new players alike will enjoy for years to come.”

Will the game live up the hype? Unfortunately we won’t know until the fall when it hits store shelves.

Halo: Reach background art leaked?

So far, all we’ve seen out of Bungie regarding Halo: Reach has been a few trailers and some artwork. From the online community, we’ve seen much more including leaked screen shots. Today, it was made known that GameInformer put up what is believed to be Halo: Reach’s background art before proceeding to pull it.
Now, it’s not confirmed that this will be the actual background art confirmed in the game but still, it’s nice to see some leaked content every once in a while.

yeah i think its based off of the books they have out.
