This is where I wish I had a better vocabulary - or perhaps less drunk.

A stone cold classic in my book. I love Blue Raspberry on this - and RAGU are just perfection. RZA delivers a mellow yet strangely unsettling musical backdrop. Just brilliant.

By the time this track rolls around, you start to believe you're listening to a movie and not an album. One of RZA's most simple and evocative beats, with Blue Rasberry bringing the backing track over the top with her perfect soulful bits and hook.

If RZA is 50% of Cuban Linx, then Ghost is 35% and thats the truth. His lead-off line is another classic example of how he just hops onto the beat like a horse and goes in at full speed. Not to take anything away from Rae, but Ghost owns this song.

5 star classic.

now this is the kind of soul/R&B that goes fine/perfectly w/ HIP-HOP.... and nobody has ever done it like rza did it w/ the 2 ladies he used early on. deep lyrics that still rhyme, but are NOT in that basic predictable 1-2-3 format... along w/ the song form 'chorus, vs.1, chorus, vs.2, chorus, vs.3, chorus...'. these simple-ass R&B cats of today sound like they get their material from the back of a froot loops box.

these r&b/RAP combos today are closer to the backstreet boys than to HIP-HOP/soul.
'catalina' & anything on 'WOP' isnt in the same league.... same sport as "rainy dayz".

and the way rza & the WU used to always go free-form in song formats, w/ the beat changes, blue going slow..... fast.... passionate, the tempo changes!!!!! amazing!!!! THAT is why the song never gets boring or played out... and why its like a fave movie that u can watch a million times thru ur whole life!

now if GFK did a album w/ rza, blue, tekitha, suga bang, similar to WOP, w/ all soulful, heart-wrenching joints ---- i'd stand in line for it. WOP -----> pass.

To me, this is the greatest song on OB4CL. I've never heard a song like this before, and I probably never will. Absolute classic.

Another puzzling one that. Why did the Wu stop using Blue and Tekitha? Makes no sense to me - wonder what the story was.
