co-sign about Goodfellas >>> the godfather; I always been saying this. goodfellas is much more realistic, more grimy, faster = more entertaining, acting is better, better pictures... plus scorsese is a more skillfull director than coppola, shooting 5-6 minutes long scenes in only 1 take and shit!

Haha man you just named all my favorite movies. I love Blow, that movie is mad dope but better than Scarface, Imma say Scarface is a bit better but I don't like comparing them together because I love em both. Goodfellas is my favorite movie of all time, and I like it better than Godfather of course, but GF is definitely a classic.

Blow is well-made and realistic based on a true story while Scarface is an over-the-top character piece that is fictional. Scarface is a cult hit, if Al Pacino wasn't at the helm the movie probably would have been the worst movie made, but Al Pacino has a presence on screen that makes you take him seriously no matter what he wants to throw at you. There is no comparing the two films, as for influence Scarface wins, Blow had better performances overall though.

I'd still say I have to put Scarface over Blow, unquestionably, this shouldn't even be a topic lol
