Is the fanatism for an US sport team as big as football (soccer)
I was wondering since I've never heard about a firm or a hardcore fanbase for a MLB , NFL or NBA team like they have for football (soccer) teams....

I don't think so. IMO, some of the soccer fans are a little too obsessed with a sport.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. But I just think it's messed up when some of the fans chant racist things to some of the players or when fans kill rival fans and stuff.

I don't see many sports games in the US where riots are happening in the stadiums, fires getting set, and a bunch of people getting killed, and fans doing the swatiska chomp while throwing bananas onto the field?

yes, i agree with you that our racism is more hidden here and that our killings our on an individual basis.

I don't think the US is as racist(openly or hidden) as some countries, such as Italy.

They have been racist in the past. Not just more recently because of others in the country.
