I postponed this battle till monday with Juice over PM but now I pretty much forfeit or however you spell it.I cant do anything with this little bit of sample that doesn't sound too choppy.The drum rolls are cool and that bass was cool but I just cant do it.Ive made 3 arrangements and they all sound like shit and I know it.

I'll battle you with another sample but I just cant get anything out of this and I dont wanna stress it.

you got the win for this and if you made something fly then please drop it cuz I wanna hear how you are supposed to flip this.I dont know what to chop from it apparently.

yeah see thats how I chopped it and it just sound so choppy to me.I want it to flow like how you make your drums usually swing but I cant make that shit swing without the choppy sound and its cuzza the heavy cymbals on it imo.

the break is awesome , Im just not skilled enough to make it pop as a sample flip

To be honest I uploaded it cause I was working on it and I couldn't make it sound nice and hoped you fellas would do a better job. I guess the sample was too drum heavy.

I don't understand what you mean with the swing drums, but what I usually do is take 2 or 3 kicks and snares from a drumbreak, EQ them differently and use the first set of kick+snares just for the main boom-bap track and the second set I use for ghostnotes. Then I insert the symbals, hats and rides manually.

I don't know if that makes any sense to you, anyway you guys use that other sample.

yeah I get what you do with the extra bits.I did that for that beat I made recently that everybody like- "crawlspace".

I cant really describe what I mean by swing.I dont mean you are sampling or using drums from swing music.Its just that your beats have a vicious swing to em,them mf's pop.idk. I see how you are doing it now though ,even before you explained how you use your kits.
