A little photo search tip
If you want higher resolution images of rappers be sure to search flickr.com
Any photographer who does work in the industry will have a flickr account. It's a given. Another great site is photosig.com (Not really much hiphop related stuff on it)

Good advice, though ive found lots of the sets on flicker are of live shows, and can be alot of times out of focus or even frame. Also alot of flickr accounts dont allow you to download the images or even view image but for those who know, there is always a way past it.
Google still is better than anything though. Safe search: Off +Show options Image size >larger than: 800x600 and up Even the filtering by COLOR is impressive. Another good site for PSD pre-cutout hip hop artists and such - http://officialpsds.com/

Google has made some new image search options I haven't played with yet.
Flickr does protect most of its users content by masking it with a 1px transparent .gif If you have firebug installed you can inspect the image placeholder and grab the direct link. Or just use a screen shot program and save it as a .png

On my firefox the placing of the mask is off by exactly 1pixel and when you high light everything on the page you can see that 1 pixel of the image beneath is sticking out of the bottom. Just right click that shit and view image, works everytime for me..

I scour Flickr on the reg for my work, my account page is http://www.flickr.com/photos/43888669@N05/.
As a visual artist it's good to get quick inspiration from all the great creative images posted there. And for high res images yes it's one of the best, I like all the options Flickr gives it's users for image optimization. I've also been using it as a way to find record stores and dealer events worldwide using keywords in the search, just type in vinyl or record store and alot of images come up.  and here's the address to my favorite photographer on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/christopherd6/3552899650/
