EDIT: ghostface never sounds good on a mash-up...i guess his cadence is too unorthodox Last edited by Dr. Simon Hurt; 06-03-2010 at 02:03 PM. |

AG, Grand Puba, Dana Barros, Sadat X & Cedric Ceballos of the NBA Phoenix Suns - "Ya Don't Stop" produced by Diamond D 1994, a lost DITC classic, I think.... Basketball's Best Kept Secret Album Dana Barros Malik Sealy (Artist), Shaquille O'Neal Brian Sshaw (Artist), Cedric Ceballos Chris Mills (Artist), Jason Kidd JR Rider (Artist), Dennis Scott Gary Payton (Artist) | Format: Audio CD Redman & Christina Aguillera - "Dirty" Mobb Deep & Lil Jon - Real Gangstaz Will Smith & Big Pun, can't rememba the name of the song The Beatnuts as fill in co-hosts on The Jenny Jones show during Musical Massacre

^^ yeah, but some of the MCs sound wrong...i guess it depends on the artists' style...u-god sounded awesome on the 'sound and vision' sample, though'
fatboybrandon, those aren't mash-ups...those are just collaborations. |

only Rae sounded off to me on the sound and vision.even my wife agreed its cuz of his cadence
like what you said with ghost. and my wife dont know shit about this Music and how it really goes. Its like white men cant jump ....she listens but she dont hear it LMFAO!!!!1 |

^^^haha...that's sometimes the problems with mash-ups like the wu/beatles mash-up...the acapellas will hit the beat of the snare, but the flow sounds all wrong at that tempo or rhythm pattern...especially with mcs like ghost, rae, nas, prodigy, rza, masta killa sometimes...i guess that's what distinguishes the people that listen from the ones that hear.

mash-ups are usually only good for one listen...once the novelty wears off, they suck ass...but the biggie/frank sinatra one is still dope for about 4-5 songs

^^^ya i hadn't given a spin for years until a few weeks ago when i was ripping music from my external hard-drive to my laptop...it's one of the few good mash-up/remix cds that's worth a listen that wasn't made by memory man.
