After hearing Rockstars finally I honestly think RZA was really on to something major with CL2. I think the album could have been just incredible if they had of stuck with RZA producing the majority of it. Think about it RZA had:

Weak Spot
Rockstars
State of Grace
New Wu
Black Mozart
Unpredictable (Original without guitars added)

^ all classic songs imo

those tracks plus the J Dilla tracks, Pirex Vision, Sonny's Missing and we would have had a modern day classic.

did I miss any leftovers or tracks by RZA that were supposed to be on the album? Add on.

I just wish Rae had of let RZA continue on with making the album. I guess we'll never know for sure but I guess when LS2 drops we'll get an idea if RZA could have pulled it off.

I was thinking thinking yesterday about how dope it would be if they dropped RZA's version of CL2.

Not that CL2 isn't dope.

"You Can't Stop Me Now" went from CL2 to being pulled at the last minute from 8D to something called Digital Snack

"We Will Rob You" was one of the earlier tracks recorded as well + the scratch article said it was produced by RZA and Khareem. i think the album is dope as hell as it is but yes it would've benefited more by more RZA beats, 50/50

oh yeah forgot about We Will Rob You and You Can't Stop Me Now

both ill songs imo and both sound like they would have fit with the rest of the RZA tracks nicely. Only thing is some of the tracks mentioned have slower tempos but I'm sure RZA would have filled in the album with more upbeat bangers.

Hell, even throw Fat Lady Sings in there by True Master except turn that crying bitch down!!!!

Man theres more songs on the retail that dont fit the theme of CLII. Get rid of Catalina and replace it with Weak Spot. Canal Street NEEDS to be State Of Grace.

get rid of about me and catalina and replace with State of Grace and Rockstars

then dump badlands for Weak Spot and get rid of either mean streets or baggin crack and replace with unpredictable OG version.

The original About Me is actually a lot better. Game & Rae's 3rd verse helped so much over Busta Rhymes
