how did this compare to season 1 I liked s1 but it seemed like they were streching by doing a second season

I really liked season 1, the only problem I had with it was that 6 eps was just too short. Season 2 on the other hand so far has been moving too slow for my likeing and it does feel like they're just trying to stretch it out without really moving the plot forward. I know that the walking dead is more a drama than an action series (having read the comics) but even the comics moved quicker than this. They have a lot of material to work from and there is plenty of great story to tell, they just need to pick up the pace from this point onwards otherwise I think they will lose a lot of viewers.

Check out the comic books if you like the show. You can get The Walking Dead: Compendium One on amazon for about $30. It consists of issues #1-48 (2003-2008). About 1,000 pages. Then you can buy them packaged into $20 books of 12 issues, or $10 volumes of 6 issues. It's now up to issue #93

I think they might be hinting at not following following the comic's story.
The dudes they met at the bar last episode said something about DC being fucked. But to be fair I doubt the TV show would've lasted that long any way.

Sometimes it just feels like at some point a writer said, "oh shit, wasn't this show about zombies? Let's add some before we start shooting"

Michonne is one of the toughest female characters in any series yet I would not be surprised one bit if they went in the opposite direction with her.
