Starting Nov. 29 in Portland, OR, the Wu-Tang Clan is touring the US making its way from coast-to-coast through 30 cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York and Atlanta. Confirmed shows are listed below and more are on the way.
Earlier this month, the Clan released a concert DVD Live at Montreux 2007, which was filmed at last year's Montreux Jazz Festival. The live DVD features the full Clan and also includes Wu-fam members Cappadonna, Streetlife and DJ Mathematics.
In November the documentary Wu: The Story of The Wu-Tang Clan premieres on the BET cable network. The feature is an authorized account of the nine-member group's rise from the Staten Island projects, and includes archival footage and interviews with the surviving members.
BET will air the documentary Nov. 13, five days before it is released on DVD. A soundtrack companion CD featuring Wu-Tang classics and solo material from Raekwon, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Ghostface Killah and Cappadonna will also hit the streets Nov. 18.
