I used to have Piazza's rookie card when I was 6. No idea what happened to my collection.

Also got a Super Data Blaster for Christmas when I was 10. I was a baseball fiend.

Youíre not a true America if baseball wasnít the first sport you loved. I used to mimic pitcher deliveries and ask my dad to guess who it was, playing catch in the backyard.

Is that a normal thing? Mid-west ppl rooting for the Yankees?

Damn, these pharmaceutical companies have really broken a once proud and prosperous demographic.

What's the difference what sports team you support? The players, owners, managers are from all over. Seinfeld had a bit about this, you're basically supporting the shirts.

    ^^^^

    lmao.

well all i can say is i genuinely usually dislike Pittsburgh Steelers fans and its the right thing for me to dislike Boston Redsox fans as well.

idk the point of it all tbh.

but i have meant guys who all of a sudden up out of nowhere, once Golden State started winning those championships w/ Kerr, that were all of a sudden Golden State fans, i dont like those types of people either.

^^yeah in my neck of the woods those types of peeps are called 'success supporters' and they are a real ISSUE here ...

The city I live in is the clearest example in the country (not the USA). the biggest team sport here (next to cycling) is soccer. when our city team dropped out of the national league in the 80s due to bad results (we have different level leagues, see) close to HALF of the city started supporting another city and most of them actually stuck to it when their own city team made it back into the national league

I imagine a scenario like this one would never happen in the US

of course it happens here easier since the country is so small, it doesn't take much effort to drive to the next big city and go to all their home games

for those in the know about Flanders (Dooch) I'm talking Ghent (my hometown) and Bruges (which the 'success supporters' root for, a tradition that is continued by the next generation in those families)

I am mildly disgusted by success supporters

After looking at some pictures I have to ask if you are a Witcher, and do you have the ability to fast travel to these other cities that have teams?
