God damn this looks good. Even old ass actors and de-aging effects can't fuck this up.

Are they going to start using holograms of dead actors in movies more often? Robert deniro may have alzheimers? All he does nowadays is ramble on and on about wanting to injure the president. He's whacked in the head.

apparently mickey rourke is throwing a fit over not being in this movie, claiming he was 'asked' for casting by the crew but then was vetoed by DeNiro (not allowed to go in for a shot at casting after all) since they have some beef that goes way back

this is on my to watch list

People from the Irishman camp said Rourke was bsíing. He was never considered for the movie they claim. He looks terrible now a days. Not enough of CGI to fix him. Praying daily that this comes to my theaters. Peace

Mickey Rourke would've been a great addition to them film. Good actor. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this film.

Saw it last Friday. It’s obviously good. But not at Goodfellas or Casino level. Anyone else? Peace

I'm waiting for wednesday when it goes on Netflix. Even if it wasn't on netflix, I think 3 and a half hours is too long to watch at the cinema. Can't wait to watch it though.

    Terrific film.

Its not as similar to Casino or Goodfellas as some might expect, because the pace is obviously much slower and The Irishman's subject matter is relatively less glamorous, but in some ways it feels like a deeper movie. Its much more grim and depressing with its focus on aging, death, a wasted life. Even though Scorsese has made gangster movies before, he isn't repeating himself here.

The digital effects work well, I kind of wish they didn't use it as a talking point/publicity for the film because as many have said you get used to it early on in the film.

Its dope watching the masters at work here. De Niro is magnetic, Pesci is subtle, Pacino gives one of his animated, maniacal performances that's super entertaining. Its a fascinating piece of American history and probably the last real epic gangster movie from artists of this caliber.

A brilliant film from a brilliant director. From beginning to end, this film captured my full attention. The runtime is over three hours but it'll seem last than that because the actor's performances, the music, and the pace of the film will pull you in.

The film was released last Wednesday and I've already watched it twice. Al Pacino (Jimmy Hoffa), Robert DeNiro (Frank S.), and Joe Pesci (Russell) are just absolutely brilliant in this film. Genius level performances by the legends and I'm blown away from the other actors and actresses, too.

It would've be grand to have seen The Irishman on the big screen. For a Netflix film (I'm not a fan of Netflix films nor is anyone), The Irishman is one of the years best films. This is a must see!
