    Exclamation Comic Newbie

Hey guys, I have just recently started to gain an interest in comics and have just bought Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (which is amazing); however, I really think I will enjoy "The Punisher" series but don't really know where to start with it.

Any suggestions? Not just for The Punisher, but for anything.

    - Peace

if you wanna get into the punisher, start with the max series and born. those are gritty as hell and give you the best view of the character. born is the story of punishers vietnam days.

yeah, that tpb is definitely the one to start with. and if you can find born in tpb get that as well. thats the real deal punisher stuff there.

batman: year one is a great read. clarmont & frank millers wolverine mini series from back in the day is a good read too.

ya that wolverine is sick, also weapon x is good

the original punisher miniseries from the 80s 'circle of blood' is worth a look too, but is tame compared to ennis' stuff

    Thanks for the help, boys.

And Nakhi, no offence, but I'm not a big fan of reading comics online.
