You all know Arabian Knight from his work with GZA on his album Beneath The Surface and other collaborations with Wu-Tang and D&D click. Sphinx, a member of our forum, recently did an interview with him and he revealed some interesting bits of information concerning him and upcoming Wu projects.

Arabian Knight is working on various projects right now. He’s putting out "a compilation album of artists from the industry. But for now my lips are sealed when it comes to lyrics."

"I am currently working on the Inspectah Deck album, Raekwon is in the kitchen. I have two songs with him. Ghostface Killah is in the studio. I am working with him also. GZA is already recording album number five and I have been working with Ed O G, Afu-Ra, Craig G, Krumbsnatcha and new artist like Icepik, Dutchess, Gambigga, just to name a few."

The first album that comes out where you can hear Arabian Knight’s production will be GZA’s Legend Of A Liquid Sword. "We have songs produced by RZA, Bink, me, Muggs, Boola, J Waxx, Jaz-O and Mathematics. Guest MC's are Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, RZA and Masta Killa. Some of the crazy songs are Animal Planet, Stay In Line, Legend Of A Liquid Sword, Sparring Minds, Autobio, What We Die For, Luminal. The album is crazy lyrical!"

In addition, Knight described the sound of Legend Of A Liquid Sword as a mix between Liquid Swords and Beneath The Surface. "The first single is in a Beneath The Surface chamber. Songs like Stay In Line, Luminal, What We Die For, Get Your Flow Right are definitely Liquid Swords style."

Arabian Knight also told that we should expect a lot of albums next year. "Early spring to summer (2003) will be a Wu heaven for their fans. Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa and Raekwon will be dropping. Plus you will hear some tag team albums like Inspectah Deck and GZA, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah again, RZA and Masta Killa."

In related news, MCA Records just reported that GZA’s album Legend Of A Liquid Sword has been delayed from December 3rd to December 10th.
